Examples of Thick Nickel Plating

CFRP roll Roll made of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). Diameter: 408 mm, length: 6500 mm. Left hand side: before coating; rigth hand side: electroplated with 850 - 1000 µm nickel. Afterwards finishing and fine grinding.
Mold tube This mold is used for continous casting. Inner area plated with high grade nickel. Finishing not required.
Molds (steel industry) Thick nickel plating of copper molds used in the steel industry. Plating with high grade nickel or nickel-cobalt. Thickness from 1500 to 8000 µm.
Extruder srew Thick nickeling of a srew extruder with high grade nickel. Diameter: 220 mm; length: 3600 mm.
Smoothing roll with bright nickel This roll was electroplated with bright nickel and posesses an extremely high wear resistance.
